This ring is for their slaves.

The ring in raw brass can oxidize over time or brighten up depending on your skin's pH. It is a normal non-toxic process, you can clean your pin with vinegar to keep it shiny.
Please note that each piece is hand-crafted by me and unique, so your actual jewel may slightly differ from the picture.
The technique used is the traditional lost wax casting: I sculpt a prototype in a hard wax, then give it to the foundry to get it cast in brass. I finish with cutting off the head and polishing.

Il y a des milliers d’années, les chats étaient vénérés comme des dieux. Aujourd’hui, ils n’ont pas oublié ce fait...
Cette bague est destinée à leurs esclaves.
La dernière photo qui a inspiré cette bague est un portrait de la danseuse Lisan Kay et de son chat, elle date de 1942.
La bague en laiton brut peut s'oxyder avec le temps, ou s'éclaircir selon l'acidité de votre peau. Il s'agit d'un processus normal et non toxique, le bijou réagit à votre contact. Vous pouvez lui redonner son éclat en le brossant avec du vinaigre.
Elle est réalisée à partir de la technique traditionnelle de la cire perdue : je travaille une maquette en cire dure, que je sculpte minutieusement jusqu'à obtenir le prototype final. Ce dernier sera alors confié à mon fondeur, qui pourra en réaliser des tirages. Je retravaille chaque tirage pour les finitions (découpe, reprise de fonte et polissage).
